For Susie
We went to school together
And we never knew
That we would end up friends
Yes, me and you.
Then we became friends
We started hangin' out
We even went to movies
And even eating out.
Then there was a time
When we would go walk
And we would walk for miles
As long as we could talk.
We shared our deepest secrets
And our darkest fears
And I can't forget the times
We both broke out in tears.
You are like a sister
And that is a fact
And I can't thank you enough
For always watchin' my back.
I hope that you do well
No matter where you are
You will be in my heart
Whether near or far.
Thanks for all the memories
And the great long past
And for all the times
You said as friends, we'd last.
Again, you're like a sister
And even more of a friend
And I cherish our friendship
Right up to the end.
Susie was recently in a car accident that left her in a coma. I only hope that she makes it through and recovers, if that doesnt happen, I hope I can see her one more time, if not, then I know I will see her in heaven. She is in my prayers, and I ask that whoever reads this may share it with others so that she can be in their prayers as well.
Thank you,
